Advice for the over 50's single traveller.

Solo travel - you are an over 50's baby boomer, and you travel alone. It makes no difference whether you are single or just traveling alone as our tips cover all.

Did you travel in the 70's like me and now find you have the means and time to do some more? I am not single but I have had to travel on my own before.

Being either a single man or woman, you often find that you pay more for accommodation (unless you share)or you may have trouble at some attractions where everything seems to be based on couples or pairs?

Follow the information offered for traveling solo under the travel planning section. Listed are the essential things like passport, visa, vaccination, travel insurance, International license, money etc.

When it comes to reservations, accommodation, we have a few tips to try to make your trip stress free. I will be putting information up soon on the best tips for the above. Meanwhile for those over 50s women who travel alone, please click on the link to my women's travel advice page.
