It travels through vast sheep and cattle stations and rugged desert ranges to the lush tropics. You can choose from sitting up or go for the twin or single sleeper cabins, with ensuites. There is also a lounge car where you can catch up with others for a chat. It also has a dining car where they cook restaurant style food. Yes they even have chefs on board. There is also the chance to do some off-train touring in places such as Alice Springs and Katherine. Pensioners get a discount on the full fare.
